INTRODUCTION
In the country side there had been lot of changes after the establishment of British power. There has being lot of historical changes in temples like Madurai , town like Dacea, or a port like Surat, or towns that simultaneously served many different functions.
In Britain, industrial cities like Leeds and Manchester grew rapidly in the nineteenth and twentieth century’s. But the Indian cities did not grow or expand in nineteenth century and what was the reason will be studied through this lesson.
