I hope this letter finds you in best of health and high spirits. Yesterday I met your mother in the market and came to know about the drug abuse from her. Well , I was quite surprised to know that you also become a victim of drug abuse.

I want to tell you about dangers of consuming drugs without the doctor’s prescription. It may bring the desired results initially but will lead to serious consequences in the near future. She told me that you take drugs to keep sleep away as you badly want to clear your medical entrance exam. Work hard for it , and take proper diet but don’t play with your life.

SUB:    Bad condition of school canteen

Sir

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the bad condition of the school canteen. In canteen all students take tea and snacks during the recess and their vacant periods. But the condition of school canteen is very bad. In our school, there are nearly 1200 students but in our school canteen there are only 25 chairs of which 15 are broken. Most of the students have remain stand while taking tea or snacks. Besides , students have to remain in dark because tube lights often remain in dark because tube lights often remain out of order. The eatables served here are also of  poor quality.

Therefore , I request you to do the needful to improve its condition.

Your sincerely

Prerna

SUB: Falling standard of education in public school

Sir

I wish to draw the attention of the public in general and authorities in particular to the class commercialization prevalent in the good schools renowned for providing quality education.

Nowadays it has become a trend to admit your children to prestigious public school , which admits students after conducting so many tests and charging a hefty amount as various funds. Although the system appears to be quite fair, restrictive and selective, but the overcrowded classrooms with 60 – 70 students in the primary section tell a different story. Almost every section of each class is in a similar situation. There doesn’t seem to be any respite from the ever increasing size of the class. The overcrowding of classrooms adversely affects the academic standards. It is very difficult for any teacher howsoever resourceful to build any rapport or conduct interactive session in such large classes. The curriculum is covered in poor manner. Then it has also become a fashion to increase the fees every year.

The academic values are brushed aside with nonchalance and the sole factor that governs the school authorities is the money that these large number rake in. will the authorities look into this sad state of affairs and bring an end to this commercialization of education resulting in falling academic standards ?

Your truly
